It never rains in California.
Except on December 17th it did.
These images are cozy and warm and emotional because of the dark skies but also because Lauren and Dan made it that way. {The beyond stunning pink dress Lauren chose helps too} We made it through the whole day with out a drop. Then upon the commencing of speeches the sky began to cry. Not because the speech was so good, but because it had been holding all that water, all day long. One of my favorite images is 2/3 of the way down. Lauren was entitled to this moment as I think honestly all of us might feel this way. Then there is Dan, who took off his jacket and wrapped it warmly around his bride, pulled her in with a whisper and on the night went without a hitch. Everyone gathered inside around the fireplace for cheer and laughs. I honestly thought it could not have been better. Sometimes things are not perfect and for that they turn out even better. EVERYONE had the best time!
Once the rain stopped, dancing continued late into the night outside under a twinkling light patio.
It was perfect.
