Ally + Jon are really cool.

Ally had an amazing idea to fly us to NYC to shoot in Central Park. Because Michelle was 9 months pregnant that photo session was scrapped. Boo! Maybe for a one year wedding anniversary session we can make that happen! Being in SoCal seemed to fit these two just fine as we rocked some secret Malibu spots and got some GORGEOUS photos! We can't wait for this wedding! It's gonna be great!...and we get to work with the fabulous Bella girls too!

kristina + james

This is one of my favorite weddings last year. Not only were Kristina and James so much fun and let us photograph until our hearts were content, but also because we were at the unbelievable Orella Ranch in Santa Barbara with the beautiful Jill Remy and the ever so talented Gavin Roy of SBDJ's. Not to mention the delicious food of Pure Joy Catering! Enjoy!

happy 2010!

Whew! 2009...what a year! We got married, had a baby, and photographed the hell out of it! We are still smiling and having a blast doing what we do. This is a charmed life we live and we are so thankful for it. Thanks to all of our family and friends for your support this year, and most of all thank you to our amazing brides and grooms who were so very generous to our new little man! We LOVE being with you on your wedding day! Here's a few personal pix that we want to share. (ps, weston has a slight paci-addiction)

Back to blogging! Catching up with this summers weddings here is Jessica + Adams!

We had the best day shooting Jessica + Adams wedding at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu. This is one of our favorite local venues as it is so unique with vineyards, zebras and large vast open landscapes that make for an amazing photo sessions. This martini themed wedding was held at the main house complete with bright vibrant colors, custom etched martini glasses and places for all of their guests to lounge in the perfect weather. The reception was held at sunset under a giant tree full of chandeliers and white twinkle lights. It was perfect! Congrats guys!

kelly + pearse

kelly + pearse had one hell of a party. the irish don't mess around when it comes to drinking and weddings, and this reception was no exception. on top of that, kelly from event of the season is a rocking coordinator in the SB area so I had NO pressure on me to make this event superb. kelly brought in some really fun props, and i have to say the bridal party balloon shot is one of my faves of the year. on top of all this the night rocked out with the always spectacular DJ GAVIN ROY from Santa Barbara DJs. it's always a bloody good time with Gavin driving the boat. extra special thanks to maria for killing it with me, 8 mths prego and all! - jb

As you can tell from the images below these two have some personality! We love how playful Roger + Laura are and it shows in these amazing photos. Thank you to Dana + Jessica who photographed this wedding for Mi Belle. The beautiful coordination was done by Kerry Lee from Santa Barbara Wine Country Events, and the lucky couple had none other than the AMAZING Gavin Roy from Santa Barbara DJs! Congrats and enjoy!

Can you say 1940's Hollywood? This wedding had me channeling the old great filmmakers of the 30's & 40's. I couldn't help it. Just look at Elise's hair! So freakin' awesome! An unexpected 45 minute ceremony, complete with a bridesmaid fainting (she was ok), left Calamigos Ranch dark for our romantic sequence , but the lighting around the property could not have been designed better for the look and feel of this bride. Elise + James owned it! Flowers by the fabulous Freddie + Bree from Rockrose Floral and tunes by Jason at Elegant Event Entertainment just added to the greatness! Enjoy!

This amazing wedding took place at the beautiful Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo. This was officially my last wedding before becoming a mom and it was also my last wedding with the 2 B's (Bryce & Blake)(that post is coming soon...). I miss them already! Yes that is their last name and they did a great job playing it up at their amazing wedding at The Bacara in Santa Barbara! Sam and Shane have been clients/friends for a long time coming. We LOVE them as they are so good to us and Sam has the knack for constantly sending presents!
